About Dana Gunnarsson
Dana is a credentialed Education Specialist with over twelve years of public school teaching experience, ranging from kindergarten to high school. She holds a master's degree in Special Education and has completed over 60 hours of Orton Gillingham coursework through the Institute of Multisensory Education. Dana has considerable experience working with students with extensive support needs, language-based learning disabilities, dyslexia, struggling readers, and neurodivergent children in both group and individualized settings.

Educational Therapy
Dana provides engaging, individualized intervention with a dyslexia-specific approach intended to help ALL struggling readers, including those with dyslexia or other language-based learning disabilities. Dana implements evidence-based practices to provide multisensory structured literacy instruction. Sessions are tailored to each child’s individual needs and based on continuous assessment and progress monitoring. Dana provides engaging instruction and strives to build a strong relationship with each of her students. Therapy can be provided virtually or in person.
